Research On The Change Of Regional Center In Modern Southeast Henan

In the long agricultural times,huaiyang has always been the regional administrative center in the southeast of Henan province,and this stable situation has been broken since zhou Jiakou appeared.Zhoujiakou rose in the Ming and Qing Dynasties due to the dredging of the Jialu River,its waterway transportation is very convenient,so the continuous development of commodity trade,boom,as one of the four famous towns in Henan at that time.As a transshipment town in the late agricultural era,the economic development of Zhoujiakou is less constrained by feudalism than that of the cities under the traditional system,so its economic development is fast.During the Period of the Republic of China,due to the loss of water transport conditions,Zhoujiakou declined briefly,but not absolutely.Zhoujiakou has always maintained its superiority in the southeast Part of Henan,and finally replaced the traditional administrative center huaiyang in 1965 to become the political,economic and cultural center of the southeast part of Henan.This paper mainly analyzes from four aspects: the natural and cultural environment of the development of southeast Henan,the process of the transfer of regional centers in southeast Henan,the reasons for the transfer of regional centers in southeast Henan,and the reflection on the transfer of regional centers in southeast Henan.Firstly,the geographical environment suitable for human habitation and production is the basis of civilization in the southeast Part of Henan province.In addition,southeast Henan has a long history of humanity and social economy.From the point of view of geographical factors,the change of water conservancy and traffic is the prerequisite for the rise of Zhoujiakou.The transformation of regional center in southeast Henan is a long process.In the agricultural era,the regional center of southeast Henan was relatively stable,with Huaiyang as the administrative center.In the late agricultural age,zhoujiakou’s transshipment trade developed rapidly,and huaiyang had replaced huaiyang as the regional economic center in the southeast of Henan in the middle of qing Dynasty.In the industrial age,the regional administrative center of southeast Henan has a tendency to shift.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,Zhoukou established its position as an administrative center in 1965.There are many reasons for the regional center shift in the southeast of Henan Province.In terms of economy,the transshipment trade in Zhoujiakou was still developing in the Period of the Republic of China,and the commercial demand promoted the economic development of Zhoujiakou.At the same time,the industry and commerce of Zhoujiakou also changed,and the modern industry and commerce appeared,which transformed to modernization earlier than other counties in southeast Henan.In terms of transportation,Zhoujiakou has realized the continuation of water transport hub and the development of new land transportation,which has promoted the development of zhoujiakou’s commerce and trade to a certain extent.In terms of political policies,the changes of national policies also have an impact on the changes of regional centers in southeastern Henan.Especially after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,due to the needs of national construction,the administrative divisions are constantly adjusted,which makes the construction of counties in southeastern Henan also changing.In the aspect of modern municipal construction,the degree of municipal administration and the development of electricity and political transportation in Zhoujiakou are more developed than other counties in southeast Henan,which is also one of the reasons why Zhoujiakou can become the regional center of southeast Henan.In addition,the emergence of new municipal institutions,such as the police,reflects zhoujiakou’s modernization.This paper discusses and analyzes the process of the transfer of regional center in southeast Henan,and summarizes the development and influence of Zhoukou after becoming the regional center in southeast Henan.Located in the Central Plains,southeast Henan was deeply influenced by feudalism.However,in the late Ming Dynasty,after the emergence of capitalism,Zhoujiakou came into being,breaking the traditional feudal pattern in southeastern Henan.After the Opium War,the invasion of foreign capitalism further affected the southeast of Henan,and Zhoujiakou gradually became the economic center of the southeast of Henan.The economic development has promoted the development of other aspects of Zhoujiakou,and has impacted the traditional administrative divisions in the southeast Of Henan,and become a new regional center in the southeast of Henan.
