A Dream of Red Mansions is one of the four famous novels in China that written by Cao Xueqin in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.It plays a significant role in the history of Chinese literature.The composer,Liping Wang,has created the popular songs for the 1987 version of the TV drama,"Dream of Red Mansions," among which13 pieces of music were deeply loved by the audience,with different styles in each composition.The author likes the song "Fen Gun Rous" as the most because it is the most stirring both in terms of lyrics and tunes.The first chapter of this article will give an introduction to the background of the song and the contribution made by the songwriter to "A Dream of Red Mansions",and the second chapter will focus on the main body of the character’s musical image,analyze the music,analyze the character’s image,and shape the character’s image by the lyrics Etc.,the third chapter explains the singing of the song,through the grasp of the sound,the processing of the singing and the combination of its own stage practice,the most suitable voice is used to present the image of the character getting married,and finally the singing experience obtained in the singing practice,etc.,Comprehensive analysis and description are carried out from these aspects,so as to serve the author’s own singing and recognize the rigor of music.
