Chen Pei Qiu and Xie Zhi Liu are the couple painters who dominated the Chinese painting scene in the second half of the 20 th century.At the same time,they are good at identifying ancient paintings,calligraphy and poetry,and familiar with painting history painting theory,it had a great influence on modern Chinese painting.Mr.Chen Peiqiu studied in Southwest Associated University and the national Yi Zhuan successively.Later,she was an artist of Shanghai Painting Academy,member of Shanghai Museum of Literature and History,Duoyunxuan Consultant.Mr.Chen Pei-qiu uses a combination of Chinese and Western creative techniques,integrate the painting characteristics of western Impressionism,created the combination of color and ink Chinese painting new wind.Formed not only with Chinese ink taste and international painting vision,fresh and beautiful painting style,independent of modern Chinese painting.This article is based on Mr.Chen Peiqiu’s understanding and practice of inking,and to place Mr.Chen Peiqiu’s point of view on his life painting experience for a detailed investigation,from the ink-drop method,as well as the style and characteristics of the ink-drop method of mining and practice,and demonstrate with pictures.Finally,Chen Peiqiu’s contribution to inking and the significance of modern painting are expounded,thus proves that Mr.Chen Peiqiu’s painting experience and valuable experience in practice for exploring the development of modern Chinese art has the enlightenment role.
