The 1960s were a complicated time for Japan.In 1945,the World War II ended with Japan’s defeat,and Japan’s door was completely opened.With the arrival of the US military in Okinawa,Western culture represented by the United States swept across Japan.In the midst of social turmoil,the invasion of Western culture,and the decline of traditional Japanese culture,Japanese photographers who grew up during the war no longer blindly followed the West and followed the development of Western art,but paid more attention to individual self-awareness and photography and art.The combination of local culture,and thus began to explore the path of photography that belongs to Japan itself.This article takes Japan’s post-war photography development as a clue,and takes private photography as an entry point,trying to deeply analyze the cultural awareness behind the development of Japanese private photography from a new perspective,and analyzes the cultural origins of private photography and its influencing factors one by one.Take the works of famous post-war photographers as an example,to study the multicultural integration of Western and Eastern cultures in Japanese private photography works.
