A Geolinguistic Study Of Wenzhou Yueqing Dialect

Yueqing is located at the junction of Wentai corridor.Its special geographical location makes Yueqing have typical significance in Geographical Linguistics.Through field investigation and drawing dialect map,this study discusses the geographical differences of Yueqing as a border area.This study consists of six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the general situation of Yueqing from three aspects: geographical environment,historical evolution and dialect research,combs the research status of geolinguistics at home and abroad,and explains the research purpose,materials,methods and steps of this paper.The second chapter selects the three representative points of Dajing,Shizhen and Lecheng to sort out and summarize the phonology of the three representative points of Yueqing dialect from three aspects of phonology,rhyme and tone.The third and fourth chapters are the main part of this study.The third chapter describes and analyzes the geographical differences between initials and finals of Yueqing dialect in the form of dialect map;The fourth chapter investigates the geographical differences of quantifiers and pronouns in Yueqing dialect by selecting lexical features.Generally speaking,the third and fourth chapters discuss the geographical differences of Yueqing dialect from the internal factors of language.The fifth chapter discusses the influence of non-verbal factors on the distribution pattern of Yueqing dialect from the aspects of administrative division and physical geography.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of this study,including the significance and shortcomings of the research,and also the summary of the full text.
