Study On The Reception Of Bai Juyi’s Leisurely Poems In The Northern Song Dynasty

Bai Juyi,as a representative figure in the poetry circle of the Mid-Tang Dynasty,his poems spread far-reaching at that time and later generations.In the ten years of Emperor Xianzong of the Tang Dynasty,Bai Juyi was divided into four categories of poetry in The letter to Yuan Jiu.Leisure poetry is the category of poetry after satirical poetry.Leisure is not only the main content of his later poetry,but also the creation of Bai Juyi throughout his life.This kind of poetry has a far-reaching influence on later generations,especially in the Northern Song Dynasty.Bai Juyi’s leisure poems experienced a process of acceptance from peak to succession and then to decline in the Northern Song Dynasty,and had different biases and characteristics in different periods of the Northern Song Dynasty.Therefore,this paper takes the period as a division to explore the acceptance of Bai Juyi’s leisure poems in the Northern Song Dynasty.The full text is divided into five parts:The introduction part introduces the origin of the topic selection,combs the research status,and expounds the innovation of the paper.The first chapter combs the origin of Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry,and analyzes the acceptance of Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry under the background of the overall acceptance of Bai Juyi’s poetry in the Tang and Five Dynasties.Taking Yao he,Pi Rixiu,Lu Guimeng,Sun Fang and Li Jianxun as the specific recipients of Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry,this paper analyzes the influence of Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry,which plays a leading role in the worship of Bai Juyi in the early Song Dynasty.The second chapter analyzes the acceptance of Bai Juyi’s leisurely poems in the early Song Dynasty.Under the background of the prevailing atmosphere of advocating Bai Juyi in the early Song Dynasty,Song Taizong,Guange Literati,Wang Yucheng and Chao Jiong accepted Bai Juyi’s leisurely poems.It not only has common characteristics,but also presents personalized performance.At the same time,as an anthology of Bai Juyi’s poetry in the Song Dynasty,Wen Yuan Ying Hua also reflects the pursuit of Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry in the early Song Dynasty.The third chapter analyzes the acceptance of Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry in the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty.Under the background of reflecting on the style of enjoyment in the early Song Dynasty,although Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry did not occupy the mainstream,many scholars in this period had the experience of relegation.Therefore,Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry became the conscious choice of scholars in this period.The author takes Ouyang Xiu,Sima Guang and Su Shi as the specific acceptance objects to explore their acceptance of Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry,which is based on Bai poetry and brewing new changes.The fourth chapter analyzes the acceptance of Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry in the late Northern Song Dynasty.During this period,Tao Yuanming became a model of poetics,while Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry was in a subordinate position.Nevertheless,it did not lose its brilliance.Zhang Lei and Huang Tingjian still vigorously imitated Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry,making it also occupy a place in the poetic world in the late Northern Song Dynasty.To sum up,Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry had a far-reaching impact on the literati of the Northern Song Dynasty.Under the influence of different current trends and their own experience,they also focused on their acceptance of their leisure poetry.Under their promotion,the Northern Song Dynasty became a key link in the canonization of Bai Juyi’s leisure poetry.
