When the art moved into the post modern era,it has changed from the comprehensive paintin g to the study that focused on a single area.Minimalism was the end of modernism,also the begin ning of postmodernism,which existed in the whole process of the postmodernism.As the era deve loping,the traditional material lacquer has been invigorated due to the continuous development of people’s cognition and the influence of contemporary artistic thoughts.The “the ink with the times”is a necessary innovation method of contemporary Chinese traditional culture.Using the lacquer a s the material,this paper focuses on a single topic: texture and luster based on the creation concept“minimalism” and deeply researches it,which is a direction in the innovation exploration of conte mporary traditional lacquer.
