An Exploration Of The Age Of Fibre Art

This paper places fibre art in the context of different eras,examining its origins and development from a social and cultural perspective,and gradually looking at the modern era to explore how fibre art has become a unique and contemporary art form in the field of contemporary art by connecting with digital media and intermingling with multiple disciplines.Through case studies,it also explores how fibre art in different eras has gradually broken down its own limitations and presented itself as an interweaving and fusion with different art forms.From the perspective of my own learning and creative experiences,the essay illustrates the problems that arose in my own creative process,and the process of inquiry that was undertaken in response to these problems.The first part reviews and summarises the origins of fibre art by tracing the origins of the material;the second part analyses and summarises the significance of the material for the development of fibre art in relation to the creative practices of individual artists,presenting the multi-dimensional integration of fibre materials with the mainstream art forms of different eras and the possibilities for their own development that arise from this;the third part The third section aims to provide a macroscopic discussion of the evolution of fibre art at the level of language,interpreting the relationship between its linguistic forms and its own development,thus providing a clearer direction for the creation of fibre art works in the field of contemporary art;the fourth section discusses the relationship between my works and the contemporary development trend of fibre art in the context of my graduation work;the final section concludes with a summary of the above chapters.The concluding section summarises the above chapters,outlining the relationship between the expression of fibre art in different eras and art forms and its own topicality and openness,and provides an outlook on its future development.
