The Development Of Linear Language In Fiber Art ——A Media-Based Perspective

Fiber art creation is mainly composed of linear materials through certain techniques.Modern large-scale soft sculptures and space works are viewed and browsed through art exhibitions.Traditional weaving and embroidery techniques are widely used by people through daily necessities.These are fiber art.As the smallest unit of fiber art,linear language is the essence and soul of the whole fiber art works.From the perspective of line as the ontological language of fiber art,this paper attempts to discuss the ancient and modern changes of offline under the background of the times,as well as the development trend of "fiber line" under the influence of new media technology,and re-examine the new concept of "line",one of the languages of contemporary art forms.Firstly,this paper defines the era background and research significance of the development of fiber art.Secondly,it summarizes,studies and expounds the relevant concepts and independent attribute characteristics of linear language in fiber art,and then analyzes the application of traditional wire and synthetic wire in fiber art.On this basis,it analyzes the transformation process from traditional linear fiber art to modern fiber art linear language,mainly from media materials Finally,based on the perspective of media,from the integration of new media technology into linear art creation,to the cross domain expression of line materials and the artist’s new elaboration concept of line language in the contemporary context,this paper studies and analyzes the development trend of linear language of modern fiber art in combination with artist cases.The end part is based on the research of the whole paper,The conclusion,outline,assumption and Prospect of the development of fiber linear language are made.
