Research On Imagery Of Animals In Jan’an Poetry

There are a large number of poems containing animal images in Jian ’an poems,and the poets represented by Cao Cao,Cao Pi,Cao Zhi and Kong Rong,Chen Lin,Wang Can,Xu Gan,Ying Yang,Liu Zhen generally use animal images in their poems.These animal images are important carriers for poets to express their feelings and also an important part of the study of Jian ’an poems.Based on The poems of The Pre-Qin,Han,Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties written by Lu Qinli,this thesis comprehensively collects jian ’an poems with animal images and takes them as the research object to analyze the thoughts and emotions of the poets and the artistry of animals reflected in Jian ’an poems.The thesis is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part mainly introduces the significance of the topic,the research direction of animal image related to Jian ’an’s poetry and the research methods adopted in the thesis.The text is analyzed from three parts.The first part makes a statistical and quantitative analysis of animal images in Jian ’an’s poetry.First,this paper expounds the animal image insect fish,birds and beasts quartering and its basis,secondly,sort out the characteristics of animal images in Pre-Qin and Han poetry.the pre-qin period,represented by the "book of songs" and "chu ci" in the poetry of animal imagery has not yet with the political indoctrination,and presents the primitive religion and the colour of mystery,magic.The author creates animal images objectively and rationally.In the Han Dynasty,the unification of the political situation strengthened the auspicious color of the images of "huanghu" and "phoenix" in poems.The image of "lovebirds" and "huanghu" was repeatedly written in the Yuefu poetry of Han Dynasty and Nineteen Ancient Poems,which were decorated with the quantifier "double".Finally,the number of animal images in Jian ’an’s poems is counted and the reasons behind the data are analyzed.The reason for the high frequency of images of birds and beasts was that the poets in Jian ’an often reflected the erratic state of mind under the background of chaos through images of birds.In addition,The beats imagery was closely related to the war environment at that time,many people personally participated in the war and the belife of making contribute.The second part of the text mainly analyzes the life consciousness embodied by animal images in Jian ’an’s poems.Life consciousness is the most prominent feature of Jian’an literature,which is also reflected in animal images.First of all,in the pursuit of the length of life,Jian ’an poets expressed their worries about the brevity of life with the help of images such as "turtle","snake" and "bird",and expressed their desire for immortality with the help of animal images such as "dragon" and "deer".Secondly,in the aspect of increasing the thickness of life,the thickening of life mainly refers to the efforts of jian ’an poets to realize their life value in the terbulent days.Poets used bird images such as "swan","phoenix" to advertise their noble interests,at the same time to the image of birds and horses to express their wishes for success.Finally,in terms of the improvement of comfort,the images of birds and beats reflected the poets’ attitude of desire for enjoyme,freedom and getting rid of loneliness.Jian ’an poets were in a period of extremely active and chaotic thoughts,which makes their animal images contain contradictory but integrated emotions.These emotions are interwoven and embody the life consciousness of Jian ’an poems.The third part of the text mainly analyzes the artistry of animal images in Jian ’an poetry.Jian ’an poets consciously pursue literary characteristics and pay attention to the aesthetic feeling of art forms.First of all,in the expression of animal image,Jian ’an poets use bixing,symbol and foil.Bixing include "metaphor" and "xing",which are mainly written in part.Many metaphors are used as symbols,and many images form a huge symbolic system.The foil includes the front line and the back line,with the animal image as the foil,or from the front or back to highlight the poet’s feelings.Secondly,the combination of images is also different,mainly by juxtaposition,contrast and convergence.The juxtaposition can be divided into self-grouping of the sentence and couplent-grouping of the sentence.Contrastive images are often opposite in nature;Convergence is dominated by a central image,while the rest of the images are developed around the central image like each point on the spoke,and the images are more intensive.Finally,the animal images in Jian ’an’s poems have their own unique ways of construction.On the one hand,jian ’an poets are relatively fixed in the selection of images,and animals such as "wild goose","phoenix" and "horse" appear frequently.On the other hand,the animal image in Jian ’an’s poetry reflects the intense and sad style of jian ’an’s poetry,which is mainly reflected in the words of "loneliness","sadness" and "sorrow" with sentimental color.The concluding summarizes the animal imagery in Jian’an poetry again on the basis of the paper.Based on the background of the times,animal imagery in Jian’an sublate and take the expreness of animal imagery in Pre-Qin and Han’s,which has the ideological and artistic value.By studying the animal imagery in Jian’an poetry,this paper further grasps the ideological and emotional status of poets in Jian’an period,and provides new ideas for the study of life consciousness and artistry in Jian’an poetry.
