| Under the background of the rapid development of information technology,the market demand changes rapidly,and the competition between enterprises is becoming more and more fierce,which determines that the high-cost internal innovation model cannot meet the needs of enterprise innovation and development.In this context,the state has launched “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” to stimulate the wisdom and creativity of hundreds of millions of people.Enterprises have gradually realized that they can cross organizational boundaries and support the development of innovation activities by acquiring and integrating internal and external innovation resources.Crowdsourcing is a new resource allocation model in the Internet era,which enables enterprises to cross organizational boundaries to obtain a large number of innovative resources at a low cost,enhance enterprise competitiveness and win the favor of enterprises.Therefore,crowdsourcing communities supporting crowdsourcing activities have been established one after another.With the development of crowdsourcing,although China’s crowdsourcing practice has made great achievements,but there are also some problems,such as low participation of members of crowdsourcing community,less long-term active population,low efficiency of innovation,lead to innovation performance at a low level,and cannot give full play to the crowdsourcing innovation effect.Crowdsourcing community is the result of the interaction among makers,crowdsourcing platform,and employers.Makers undertake the main innovation activities in crowdsourcing community,and their innovation performance is the basis for the improvement of the innovation performance of the whole crowdsourcing community.Therefore,analyzing the influencing factors of the innovation performance of makers to take measures to promote the improvement of makers innovation performance is of great significance to enterprises and even the whole crowdsourcing community.As for the influencing factors of innovation performance of makers in crowdsourcing community,scholars have made more explorations from different perspectives,and believe that the characteristics of innovation tasks,users’ willingness to participate,platform push mechanism,incentives and knowledge sharing will all have an impact on innovation performance.However,there is still a lack of research on whether and through which mechanism the network culture embeddedness as a soft environment factor can promote the improvement of makers innovation performance.Therefore,based on combing the relevant research on crowdsourcing and innovation at home and abroad,combined with the current situation of crowdsourcing practice,this paper summarizes the transmission chain of “network culture embeddedness →strengths-based psychological climate → thriving at work → makers innovation performance” from the theoretical and practical levels,and puts forward four theoretical hypotheses.On this basis,this paper selects large domestic crowdsourcing communities such as Zhubajie.com,Task China and Alibaba Cloud as the research scenarios,and collects the data with makers embedded in them as the research objects.Then we use comprehensively data analysis software SPSS26.0 and Mplus7.4 to test the four hypotheses proposed in the study,and draw the following conclusions:(1)Network culture embeddedness of crowdsourcing community has a significant positive impact on makers innovation performance;(2)strengths-based psychological climate and thriving at work play a significant intermediary role between network culture embeddedness and makers innovation performance;(3)The two psychological process variables: strengthsbased psychological climate and thriving at work have also a significant chain intermediary effect between network culture embeddedness and makers innovation performance,that is,network culture embeddedness can stimulate makers’ to thriving at work by promoting the formation of strengths-based psychological climate of makers,and finally improve the innovation performance of makers.The research on the relationship between network culture embeddedness of crowdsourcing community and makers’ innovation performance has the following theoretical and practical significances: First,in theory.This study not only expands the application scenario of culture embeddedness and applies culture embeddedness from offline entity organization or cluster organization to crowdsourcing community,an online virtual organization,but also divides network culture embeddedness into four dimensions: inclusiveness,interactivity,fairness and autonomy,which enriches the connotation of culture embeddedness;At the same time,the analysis of the action mechanism from the psychological level based on SOR theoretical model not only makes up for the deficiency that the existing research has not included the network culture embeddedness into the influencing factors of makers innovation performance,also provides a new perspective for the study of the action mechanism between culture embeddedness and innovation performance,that is,to explore the action mechanism between culture embeddedness and innovation performance from the perspective of individual psychological factors.Secondly,in terms of management enlightenment.Crowdsourcing communities or enterprises should pay attention to the important role of culture factors and individual psychological factors in the innovation process,regulate the innovation behavior of makers through the culture soft environment,and fully mobilize the subjective initiative of makers innovation by stimulating the positive psychological state of makers,so as to promote the improvement of makers innovation performance. |
