At the beginning of the 20 th century, the study of the aesthetics of life emerged in China.Chinese scholars represented by Wang Guowei,Zong Baihua,Fang Dongmei,Li Qiquan,Feng Xiaolun,Pan Zhichang,Zhu Liangzhi, etc.,while accepting the basic theories of Western life aesthetics, opened up a path of life aesthetics theory in line with traditional Chinese cultural thought.Among them,Professor Feng Xiaolun’s triple life theory is an important research result in the theory of life aesthetics. He proposes the assertion that human beings have three lives, presenting a concern for human life.At the same time, influenced by the new documentary movement and traditional cultural thoughts such as "the benevolent one loves people" and "people-oriented",China ushered in a new wave of humanities and social documentary creation in the 1990 s.These documentaries focus on the survival and development of ordinary people, with clear and profound contents and themes.Based on this, this paper attempts to investigate how to present the triple life of ordinary people with artistic techniques from the perspective of life aesthetics,to study the life care of a single individual and even the life care of human beings in documentary works,to provide new creative ideas and perspectives for humanities and social documentaries, and to show the deep value and humanistic care of humanities and social documentaries. On the basis of exploring the relevance of theories related to life aesthetics to the study of humanities and social documentaries, and analyzing related humanities and social documentary works and the author’s graduation work "Street Corner Craftsman",we study the life care in humanities documentaries. The first chapter explains the aesthetics of life and the care for human life in humanities and social documentaries, and analyzes in detail the commonalities and connections between them. The second chapter discusses how to use audiovisual language to show the biological life of characters from both picture styling and sound processing. The third chapter elaborates the narrative perspective and narrative structure from the narrative level to help present the spiritual life of the characters visually.Chapter 4 explores how documentary creation carries the director’s care for the social life of characters and the care for human life, which in turn reflects the meaning and value of documentary filming.Chapter 5 summarizes and reflects on the creation of the graduation work "Street Corner Craftsman".It also analyzes the shortcomings in order to provide experience and requirements for future study and filming practice. |
