"Complaining about sufferings" is not only a common content in land reform novels, but also an important plot pattern. The writer consciously designs and deepens the grievance plots in his works to express the complex emotions and ideological changes of farmers in the process of the revolutionary movement. This paper mainly takes the land reform novels from 1949 to 1966 as the research object, takes the farmers’ complaint as the investigation center, starts from the historical context and the interior of the text, observes the farmers’ heart turning stories in the complaining plots, and explores how farmers realize ideological transformation in the process of "complaint" and how to "make a revolution" in their hearts."Suku" begins with the narration of suffering.Farmers speak their sufferings through private and proxy prosecutions, build a collective memory, and realize their intention to fight against landlords and gain "turn over".The land reform team carried out class emotion education and built class identity in the process of guiding peasants to "complain".Farmers are the main body of "complaints",they use "complaints" to express their resistance to the landlords and seek their own rights and interests.Class discourse entered the countryside along with the land reform team, affecting the peasants’ original daily discourse and behavior, and shaping the peasants’ class identity."Complaint" plays a role in promoting the development of the plots, adjusting the rhythm of the narrative, showing the relationship between the characters, and shaping the image of the characters in the narrative.Peasants are the growing revolutionary subjects, and they seek to "turn over" and establish subjectivity in the process of participating in rural political, economic and cultural life.Through struggle, some backward peasants have grown from passive victims to revolutionaries and builders with a sense of revolutionary struggle.Rural cadres from poor backgrounds were the head of the village, and they also gained further growth in the revolutionary struggle.Rural female cadres have grown into role-model laborers by actively participating in social production and class struggle.Rural male cadres,on the other hand, constantly overcame their own shortcomings in the class struggle and grew into qualified successors of the party."Complaining about sufferings" is an important way for farmers to "turn their heart over".The evil of the landlords is the "reason" for the peasants to "turn over",so it is necessary to carry out ideological enlightenment and class education to awaken their class consciousness and develop resources for struggle in the depths of their hearts."Look and talk" is the common mentality of long-time oppressed peasants when faced with revolutionary cadres mobilizing their "grievances".They urgently need to get rid of their ideological concerns, change the situation in which they feel hardships and do not dare to speak out,and build their own consciousness of subjectivity.."Complaining about grievances" is often the beginning of violence, and peasants vent their hatred against the landlord class by expressing their suffering. The way for land reform cadres to persuade is to transform personal hatred into class hatred,so as to help peasants to better "turn their heart"."What to do" is a difficult problem faced by revolutionary cadres before and after mobilizing peasants and launching class struggle. Therefore, peasant cadres need to make good use of their power. After the end of the land reform movement, new challenges and new problems will continue to emerge. Therefore, this spiritual revolution of the peasants is a "long march".
