With the acceleration of the popularization,internationalization and diversification of higher education,the normal education system has undergone significant changes.Modernization of education by 2030 is an inevitable requirement for national modernization in the middle of the 21 st century.The team of teachers is the core pillar of the modernization of education.If normal education is not well run,it cannot train a large number of high-quality teachers urgently needed for education.As the representative of China’s first-class universities,comprehensive universities have found a legitimate position in the field of traditional normal education by virtue of a series of academic and humanistic advantages such as complete discipline setting,rich educational resources and broad academic vision.However,compared with normal universities,comprehensive universities are affected by school running tradition,cultural environment and complex political and economic factors.The solution of the development direction of normal education is not only the premise and guarantee for comprehensive university normal education to get out of difficulties and develop characteristics,but also the historical mission endowed by The Times.This study is divided into two parts.The first part is the introduction,the second part is the main body of the article,divided into six chapters.Chapter one is the foundation of the formation of normal education in the Republic of China.The second chapter discusses the emergence and development of normal education in the Republic of China.Chapter three gives typical cases of normal education in comprehensive universities during the Republic of China.The fourth chapter summarizes the characteristics and influence of normal education in the Republic of China.Chapter five illustrates the enlightenment and reference of the development course of normal education in comprehensive universities during the Republic of China.
