On How To Accurately Use Language Rhythm In Performance ——Take The Drama Comedy Sadness As An Example

Drama is a unique and irreplaceable comprehensive art.It covers a wide range of fields,a lot of professional integration,collection of the essence of each road.A play that can be described as a masterpiece must be performed by an actor,who must master the rhythm of the language in order to perform it well.Rhythm is a regular mutation in nature,society and human activity that goes hand in hand with rhythm.It is an important means of expression of lyric works to organize various changing factors in the form of repetition and correspondence to form a coherent and orderly whole（i.e.rhythm）.Rhythm is a complex concept involving many factors.In performance,language rhythm is subject to characters’ personalities,conflicts and emotions.Therefore,the author believes that language rhythm is the most intuitive factor closely connected with drama itself.Language rhythm usually refers to the alternating and regular changes of length and stress in characters’ language.In the study and stage practice of the author,different types of characters in the drama use different language rhythm methods.Language rhythm can not only effectively reveal characters’ personalities,but also fully express their emotions,so the accurate use of language rhythm is an effective way to shape characters.The drama Comedy Sadness is adapted and translated from the Japanese drama The University of Laughter.There are only two actors in the drama,and the whole drama is mainly based on dialogue,which is suitable for the use of language rhythm as an example.In this paper,the author will take the graduation show comedy Sadness as an example,combined with the knowledge and experience of stage practice,to discuss the research direction of the accurate use of language rhythm.It is a complex process from the acquisition and application of language rhythm.After obtaining and determining language rhythm through desk work,line interpretation and rehearsal practice,the author applies it according to the needs of character expression,emotion expression and conflict development.The first half of the paper focuses on understanding and clearly judging the language rhythm and how it penetrates into drama performance,while the second half focuses on summarizing the use of language rhythm through self-learning and practice summary.In the graduation drama performance,the author analyzes and summarizes the problems encountered about language rhythm and the methods to deal with language rhythm,that is,on the basis of following the correct method,the specific methods to accurately obtain and use language rhythm are obtained from the author’s own perspective.
