The Music Characteristics And Performance Analysis Of Dulcimer Piece "Abstract Painting"

The dulcimer piece “Abstract Painting” is a music of atonal style,which was composed by contemporary dulcimer performer and composer Chen Yunyun.This piece was premiered at the“Chen Yunyun Dulcimer Master’s Graduation Concert and Created New Works Concert” held in the Wangfu Concert Hall of the Central Conservatory of Music in May 2014.“Abstract Painting” is a music of atonal style,which is a breakthrough piece in modern dulcimer works.Its atonal melody and irregular rhythm characteristics describe the feeling of“destiny” in the composer’s mind.This article takes the dulcimer piece “Abstract Painting” as research object,this article focuses on the analysis of creation techniques of modern music works and the exploration of performance skills.Combined with the writer’s own performance experience,it also focuses on the interpretation of the dulcimer piece “Abstract Painting” from the perspectives of work analysis and second creation of modern dulcimer music works,thus further deepens the understanding of“Abstract Painting”,and aims to provide ideas for better interpretation and performance of this work,and to study new thinking as well as new development of modern dulcimer works better.
