| “Bidding Farewell to Her Newlywed Husband” is a large-scale erhu narrative concerto,which has ushered in a new era of large-scale erhu original works and has become one of the most influential contemporary Erhu works.In addition to the accompaniment by a large Chinese folk music orchestra,the piano version of accompaniment edited by Mr.Wang Yongde is particularly outstanding.The varying timbre of the piano sets off the melody of Erhu,syncretizing the beauty of both Chinese and Western music and vividly displaying the graceful and delicate melodies of folk music.This article consists of four chapters: The first chapter mainly introduces the creation background of the original poem “Bidding Farewell to Her Newlywed Husband” written by Du Fu of Tang Dynasty and the erhu version;The second chapter firstly focuses on the musical characteristics of “Bidding Farewell to Her Newlywed Husband”,elaborating the analysis of music ontology including composition structure,development of theme melody and accompaniment texture;and the second part of Chapter 2 elucidates the function of piano which imitates the timber of the main instruments in the orchestra through playing skills,expressing the rich emotion of this work;Based on the author’s own performance experiences,the third chapter concerns the piano playing skills of“Bidding Farewell to Her Newlywed Husband”,and build a deep understanding of its performance genre through expounding on the piano solo part and accompaniment part;The fourth chapter conducts a multi-dimensional analysis on the tacit cooperation between the piano and the erhu,which will further investigate the composition style of “Bidding Farewell to Her Newlywed Husband” and improve the capability of the cooperation between Erhu and piano,so as to provide theoretical and practical basis for proper interpretation of this work. |
