The ability of English writing is one of the most basic language skills.In our country,however,this skill in senior high school still needs to be improved.Difficulties in writing,ambiguous points,limited vocabularies and grammatical errors have become common problems in students’ English writing.At the same time,with the development of Information Age,society pushes the students in senior high school to gain new skills in accordance with new requirements.Therefore,this study applies the semi-flipped classroom teaching mode to English writing class in senior high school,which takes the application of micro-class resources in classroom teaching activities as the core,and the theory of autonomous learning as the support,emphasizes the dominant position of students in learning activities,and constructs relevant teaching models which are applied to senior high school English writing teaching so as to provide a new idea for writing teaching.Based on the theory of autonomous learning and combined with the requirements of the new high school English Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)for English writing,this paper carries out the research about the application of semi-flipped classroom teaching mode to high school English writing by using the methods of literature research,testing and quantitative and qualitative analysis in a middle school in Zhoukou City,Henan Province,so as to explore how to effectively use the semi-flipped classroom teaching mode in high school English writing design and practice.This study aims to solve the following two problems:(1)What is the effect of the semi-flipped classroom teaching mode on correcting typical grammatical errors in English writing in senior high school?(2)How does this mode in senior high school English writing teaching affect students’ writing performance? This article studies 45 students,class 8,grade 10 and 45 students,class 9,grade 10,to carry out the practical research for a semester.At the teaching design stage,based on the theory of autonomous learning,the classroom teaching is divided into three parts: before class,in class and after class.Before class students learn by themselves in combination with the guidance plan and teaching materials;then,students cooperate with each other with the help of micro video and guidance plan in class;and lastly,students need to make personalized summaries and do some exercises for consolidation.At the teaching implementation stage,combined with the content of teaching materials to implement the teaching plan,this paper analyzes the effect of semi-flipped classroom teaching mode in senior high school English writing teaching,and then teaching reflection and enlightenment will be gained.The results show that the sound effect has been made in the implementation of half flipped classroom teaching mode in senior high school English writing teaching.Students who adopt the semi-flipped classroom teaching mode have fewer grammatical errors in their compositions,the reduction effect is universal to a certain extent,and know more about the layout of the text in English writing,and use connectives effectively.Besides,they can use a variety of sentence patterns and vocabularies,and relatively smooth grammatical sentence structures.Moreover,their ability of English writing is constantly strengthened,and writing performance has been significantly improved.
