Research On The Protection And Utilization Of Revolutionary Cultural Relics From The Perspective Of Heritage Areas ——A Case Study Of Xiangxi Prefecture

Located in the western part of Hunan Province,Xiangxi Prefecture is one of the famous old revolutionary regions in China,with rich red culture and red resources.2021 coincides with the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China,and a series of activities related to the Party are being organized nationwide.revolutionary cultural relics witnessing the hard struggle of the Communist Party of China are once again attracting the public’s attention and have become the focus of research and hot spots for cultural relics conservationists in recent years.At present,some revolutionary cultural relics of great value are well protected and reasonably utilized,but many revolutionary cultural relics of less value or in remote locations are facing the plight of natural erosion and unattended.Therefore,the conservation and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics is also an important issue that needs to be solved by the cultural relics department and cultural relics workers in China.Based on the above background,this study starts from the heritage area,researches the existing condition,conservation methods and utilization strategy of the immovable revolutionary cultural relics in Xiangxi Prefecture,puts forward its own suggestions,and tries to provide new ideas for the conservation and utilization of immovable revolutionary cultural relics in Xiangxi Prefecture by drawing on the heritage area theory.This paper is divided into four parts.Part Ⅰ : Introduce the current research background,and point out the current problems of revolutionary cultural relics work;review revolutionary cultural relics and the progress of revolutionary cultural relics research in Xiangxi Prefecture,and define the definition of revolutionary cultural relics and heritage areas.Part Ⅱ: Introduction to the basic overview and red background of Xiangxi Prefecture,classification and statistics of the immovable revolutionary cultural relics in Xiangxi Prefecture by type,preservation status,protection level,and location,and summary of the characteristics of revolutionary cultural relics in Xiangxi Prefecture in four aspects: architectural type,spatial distribution,time span,and preservation status.Part Ⅲ: Summarize the achievements in the protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics in Xiangxi State,respectively,and at the same time,point out the problems in the protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics in Xiangxi Prefecture.Part Ⅳ: Based on the above research on revolutionary cultural relics,heritage areas,the study proposes the general situation of revolutionary cultural relics and revolutionary cultural relics work in Xiangxi Prefecture,the conservation principles,utilization direction and specific conservation and utilization strategies of immovable revolutionary cultural relics work in Xiangxi Prefecture.
