| The Shengjing Times during the Manchukuo period is an important public opinion propaganda tool for the Japanese puppet,which undertakes the task of enslaving the people and instilling colonial consciousness.As a supplement of Shengjing Times,Shengjing Times·Children’s Weekly undertakes the mission of educating and shaping ’the second generation of nationals ’.Shengjing Times ·Children’s Weekly was founded in 1933 and ended in 1944,which basically witnessed the whole process of enslavement education for children in the puppet Manchukuo.It presents the overall strategy of the Shengjing Times to carry out educational propaganda for children,and also reflects the propaganda strategy and colonial means of Japanese colonists.This paper adopts the literature research method,combined with Norman Fairclough ’ s discourse theory,selects the whole content of Shengjing Times · Children ’ s Weekly from its inception to the end as the analysis sample,investigates its colonial discourse presentation,and analyzes how Shengjing Times · Children ’ s Weekly instills colonial ideas into children to achieve the goal of enslavement education and shaping the ’ second generation of nationals ’.Firstly,this paper summarizes the overall situation of Shengjing Times · Children ’ s Weekly,briefly combs and discusses the founding background,development history,political position,purpose and objectives of Shengjing Times and its supplement Children ’ s Weekly,expounds the column content,layout and title change and development trend of Shengjing Times · Children ’ s Weekly,and explains the overall situation of the colonial discourse of the journal.At the same time,this paper examines the discourse content producer of ’ Shengjing Times · Children ’ s Weekly,namely the editor,around the identity characteristics,experience background and standpoint of the discourse producer,and analyzes the deep meaning and discourse production mechanism behind the discourse.This paper examines the main content,presentation and publicity strategies of the colonial discourse of Shengjing Times · Children ’ s Weekly,analyzes the ’ shaping ’ of ’ the second generation of nationals ’ in the period of Manchukuo by Shengjing Times · Children ’ s Weekly,and further explores the expression of colonial consciousness behind it.By analyzing the colonial discourse of Shengjing Times · Children’ s Weekly,the study reveals the essence of Japanese colonial invaders ’ use of journals to carry out planned and premeditated cultural infiltration,enslavement education and spiritual education for children. |
