Beethoven is a representative of Vienna classical music school,and his 32 Piano Sonatas enjoy a unique position in the history of piano art,which has been studied and played by countless generations.This paper selects Beethoven’s early representative Sonata Op 14 No 1 in E major to analyze the speed and rhythm of the four pianists,Claudio allau,William Kempf,Gregory Sokolov and Daniel Barenboim,By comparing the choice of strength and timbre,and the use of pedals and sentence processing in different versions,this paper summarizes the playing skills,playing methods and technical difficulties in playing piano sonata op14no1 in E major.
