| With the continuous development of information technology,while technology brings many emerging changes to education,it has also led to a new direction of literacy improvement,namely information literacy.Under the situation of the outbreak of the COVID-19,the education method has also shifted from the traditional face-to-face teaching mode to the online teaching mode and the online and offline mixed teaching mode.For Teaching of Chinese as a Second Language,the impact of this transformation is more lasting and profound.At present,a large number of Master Students of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(henceforth TCSOL)are receiving professional education,and will become the main force in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language in the future.The Master Students of TCSOL must have strong information literacy and a certain degree of technical teaching knowledge(Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge,TPACK).TPACK is a useful framework for thinking about the relationship between technology and teaching.It is the knowledge base for teachers to use information technology in teaching,and it also permeated in all aspects of the study,research and teaching of the Master Students of TCSOL.Analyzing the current situation of information literacy of the Master Students of TCSOL and exploring the improvement path of its information literacy will help its professional growth,provide help for its study,research and teaching,and promote the development of “teaching and learning” informatization in the field of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.This paper takes the students at universities in Jinan as the research participants,and mainly studies the following three issues: 1.Under the educational background of “Internet +”,based on the TPACK theory,what information literacy is required for a Master Students of TCSOL? What should be distinct about their information literacy? 2.What is the current status of information literacy for the Master Students of TCSOL at universities in Jinan,and what are the advantages and disadvantages?What are the reasons for these advantages and disadvantages? 3.What are the ways to improve the information literacy of the current Master Students of TCSOL?Combining with the current situation of the current Master Students of TCSOL,on the authority of the basic standards of information literacy in the ACRL(Association of College & Research Libraries)standard,the paper is based on the connotation levels included in information literacy and the TPACK framework proposed by Koehler and Mishra(2006).The “Information Literacy Questionnaire for Master Students of TCSOL”was developed to understand the current situation of the information literacy of the Master Students of TCSOL at universities in Jinan,and interviews were conducted among the Master Students of TCSOL at universities in Jinan and experts and teachers.With the questionnaire and interviews data,suggestions were put forward for the improvement of information literacy in the Master Students of TCSOL.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Combined with the current situation of the Master Students of TCSOL,in terms of knowledge learning,academic research and teaching practice,the information literacy required by the Master Students of TCSOL has specific manifestations.In terms of knowledge learning,they need to retrieve,obtain,and evaluate knowledge information,and have information literacy that can improve their own content knowledge and teaching knowledge framework.In terms of academic research,they need to be proficient in the use of technical tools and have information literacy that can assist academic research.In terms of teaching practice,they need to integrate a variety of information literacy and apply it to the entire informatization teaching process;(2)The information literacy required by the Master Students of TCSOL is characterised by diversity,iteration and profession;(3)The information literacy of the Master Students of TCSOL at universities in Jinan needs to be improved in all aspects,and at the same time,there are large differences in their information literacy,showing a certain degree of variation;(4)The reasons for the current situation of the information literacy of the Master Students of TCSOL at universities in Jinan lie mainly in master students,curriculum and their supervisors’ requirement.(5)The main ways to improve the information literacy of the current Master Students of TCSOL at universities in Jinan include raising the information awareness of the Master Students of TCSOL,establishing an information literacy course system,conducting information literacy skills competitions,improving the information literacy of teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.The four universities in Jinan selected by this research have different levels and distinctive cultivating experience.Therefore,this research has certain practical and promotion significance,and can provide reference for other regions where there are universities at different stages of professional construction,and with different cultivating experiences in TCSOL for improving the information literacy of Master Students of TCSOL. |
