Realistic Modeling Research And Practice In Freehand Figure Painting Creation

Modeling is the most direct factor affecting the creation of figure paintings.There are many ways to model figures,including anatomy,proportions,perspective,light and shade and many other elements.In the early 20 th century,deeply influenced by Western art,Xu Beihong borrowed the artistic methods of Western realistic modeling into the creation of Chinese freehand figure paintings,and used scientific and rational expression techniques to convey the painter’s painting intentions.With the development of the times,the styles of freehand figure painting have also become diversified,and the techniques of abstraction,structuring,symbolization,and freehand style of the styles are splendid.This form is of great significance to the research and practice of the realistic modeling of freehand figure painting.The thesis first analyzes the representative works of realistic modeling in the creation of contemporary freehand figure painting,and clarifies the development of realistic modeling in the creation of freehand figure painting.Understanding realistic modeling is an important foundation for learning freehand figure painting.Then,through the research on the realistic modeling of the current freehand figure painting,I can grasp the creative direction of personal works.The author uses the theme,composition,modeling,texture and other artistic methods in the series of works "Students" to emphasize realistic modeling,and deeply feels the importance of realistic modeling in the creation of artistic works.
