Tourism,as a tertiary industry,is booming in the background of globalization and the translation of tourism texts is crucial for cultural communication. This article is an English-Chinese translation practice report based on extracts from 100 Places in Italy Every Woman Should Go.The tourism text mainly introduces the famous scenic spots and history of Italy, which is a guiding work for female tourists. The translation task,on the one hand, enables Chinese and foreign tourists to cross the barriers of language communication and promotes cross-cultural communication. On the other hand, the analysis of the translation process of the tourism text can make a contribution to the research in related fields.Based on Eco-translatology,this study adopts the"three-dimensional transformation" perspectives to conduct adaptive transformation from the three dimensions:language, culture and communication. This paper is a case study of the translation,in which difficulties in the translation process are analyzed and appropriate translation strategies and methodologies are proposed. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is the description of the background, purpose and significance of the translation task. The second part is the description of pre-translation,while-translation and post-translation work. The third part is the case analysis. At the linguistic level, the author translates proper nouns in the tourist text by transliteration, free translation and zero translation, and translates long English sentences by reconstruction and division. At the cultural level, free translation, amplification and annotation are applied to realize cultural transmission. And at the communicative level, reconstruction, amplification and free translation are adopted to achieve the communicative purpose of tourism texts through the conversion of language forms. The last part is the findings and enlightenment from the translation task, with the hope to provide reference for other translators.
