A Study On The Use Of Modern Chinese Topics And Their Uyghur Equivalents ——A Case Study Of The Chinese-uyghur Version Of Midnight

Topic as known information,each language expresses and connects topics according to its own language experience in information exchange.Chinese and Uygur are different in language types,so there are differences in topic expression.Based on the theory of functional grammar,this paper analyzes the characteristics of topic usage in sentences,and then analyzes the expression of topic in texts with the help of discourse cohesion theory,so as to better understand the usage of topic from multiple aspects.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research purpose,research significance,theoretical basis,literature review,etc.,sort out topic concepts and define research objects from domestic and foreign topic studies.The second chapter observes the usage of Chinese topics from the aspects of vocabulary,sentence,discourse and pronunciation,and sorts out the usage of Chinese topics and their corresponding expression characteristics in Uygur.The third chapter mainly observes the phenomena of complete corresponding expression,incomplete corresponding expression and completely non-corresponding expression of Chinese topics from the corresponding transformation of modern Chinese topics in Uyghur discourse,collates the performance of the corresponding transformation of Chinese topics into Uyghur topics,and analyzes the cohesion characteristics of Chinese-Uyghur topics.The fourth chapter makes statistics on the topic anaphora in Midnight and its Translation and summarizes the tendency of topic cohesion in Chinese and Uyghur.The fifth chapter summarizes the main contents and conclusions of the whole paper,and explains the limitations of the research,the research prospects and the practical application value of the research.Through the theoretical analysis of chinese-Uyghur topics in terms of vocabulary,sentence,discourse and pronunciation and the corresponding situation of Chinese topics in Uyghur,the characteristics of the use of Chinese-Uyghur topics are understood.Finally,the cohesion tendency of Chinese-Uyghur topics in different texts and different discourse levels is summarized according to the statistical results of data.
