| When explaining some abstract or strange things, people often compare them with familiar things to achieve an easy to understand effect and finally impress people. So is language. All languages have sentences for comparison, namely "Comparative Sentences".When people use language, they often reflect the characteristics of things through comparative sentences.Using comparative sentences can better highlight the characteristics of the explained object, leave a deep impression on the readers and enhance the effect of explanation.Taking Chinese comparative sentences as the research object, this paper explores their expression in spring and their corresponding Uyghur translation forms, and discusses the Uyghur translation methods and skills. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction, which combs the research status of comparative sentences on the basis of previous studies, puts forward research methods, explains the source of corpus, and then highlights the purpose and significance of this paper. The second part first expounds the definition of Chinese comparative sentences.Secondly, combined with the theories of other scholars and according to the actual situation of their own corpus,Chinese comparative sentences are divided into three kinds:equal comparative sentences, differential comparative sentences and extreme comparative sentences. Then,it illustrates the constituent elements of comparative sentences with examples. Finally,it analyzes the differences between comparison and other semantics to identify comparative sentences more accurately. On the basis of the second part, combined with the corpus, the third part divides the Chinese comparative sentences into three semantic types:平比据、差比句、极比句.On the basis of semantics,it further classifies the Chinese comparative sentences at the syntactic level, and then analyzes their dimensional translation forms. The fourth part analyzes the translation methods and skills of comparative sentences in spring. The last part summarizes the full text.Through the analysis and interpretation of the expression forms and Uyghur translation of comparative sentences in spring, this paper finds that all types of Chinese comparative sentences have corresponding Uyghur forms in the process of translation. In addition to these corresponding forms, they will also be affected by semantics and pragmatics, resulting in formal changes. They are translated into general declarative sentences with other meanings except comparative meaning. The reasons for these changes are inseparable from the translator’s translation habits, the expression habits of the target readers, grammar and other factors. Therefore,it is concluded that the translation of Chinese comparative sentences is affected by both form and function. In terms of translation methods and techniques of comparative sentences, translators mainly use literal translation, free translation and other translation methods, and flexibly use translation techniques such as addition, subtraction, conversion of sentence patterns and combined translation,so as to make the translation consistent with the original text as much as possible. |
