Drama facial makeup is a traditional art form conceived,formed and developed under the background of traditional Chinese society.As a life art,its survival and development are closely related to the cultural ecology in which it is located.The cultural soil on which theatrical facial makeup relies has undergone tremendous changes,and the inheritance has entered a difficult situation.Intangible cultural heritage(hereinafter referred to as "intangible cultural heritage")protection work on the understanding and development of traditional cultural resources has allowed the inheritance of drama masks to enter a new context.The establishment of the fourlevel non-heritage protection catalogue and inheritor system has not only improved its social awareness,but also dated the power of the country.The concepts of productive protection and living inheritance have entered the inheritance scene in capital and industrial development,and at the same time,it is inspired by folk culture and art.The large amount of academic potential provoked by heritageization attracts academic discourse.The game of discourse has caused the dramatic mask to undergo a transformation and adjustment from tradition to modernity.The dramatic mask after such a continuation of the evolution no longer appears in its original artistic form,but merges into modern life in the process of focusing on reality and rethinking history.Under the intervention of the power of others,the drama mask presents a multi-value trend such as politics,economy,and culture,and its connotation is constantly expanding.However,in the process,the words of the inheritors who are at the core of non-genetic inheritance are often ignored and presented.It shows the great tension faced by the contemporary inheritance of drama facial makeup.Jiangsu drama mask was included in the provincial list of intangible cultural heritage protection in 2009.Generations of inheritors have sought the inheritance and development of drama masks in their explorations,showing the strong endogenous power of Jiangsu drama masks.On the basis of combing the relevant literature,this article examines the inheritance of Jiangsu drama facial makeup through participating in observation,structured interviews,experience,dialogue and personal artistic practice,and focuses on the main inheritors of this art-Yan Shaokui,Cheng Shaoyan,Yan Lei and others conduct investigations on their artistic practice,analyze their social and human relations formed during the game of state discourse,capital discourse,academic discourse and other external forces in their artistic life,and explore from the perspective of contemporary transformation of traditional culture The type,level and specific mechanism of the main body of folk art inheritance.The study found that,similar to the intangible cultural heritage types with small inheritance groups and low density of community relations,such as Jiangsu drama facial makeup,the role of community power is limited,and the family provides important support among them,expanding and strengthening the power of inheritance subjects.This unit of inheritance,which has received little attention from the academic circles before,has greater theoretical significance and application value.
