A Study Of Dialect Phonetics In Bashu Local Chronicles

The dialect data collected in local chronicles are very rich.At present,there are few achievements in the study of dialect data recorded in local chronicles.This paper takes 200 new chorography,26 old chorography and 4 dialect chorography in BaShu as the research object,and excavates the phonological features and characteristics of the dialects in BaShu.Through the on-the-spot investigation and the network search,the paper collects and arranges the dialect materials in the local chronicles and establishes the “Sichuan dialect data database”and “Chongqing dialect data database”,adopting the method of dividing the three large areas and six small areas of Sichuan and Chongqing dialects in the latest edition of Language Atlas of China,the phonetic system of Mandarin dialect,Hakka dialect and Xiang dialect in the new local chronicles is sorted out and studied at the synchronic level,describes its phonological features.The phonetic features of Sichuan dialect,Hakka dialect and Xiang dialect recorded in local chronicles are found to be basically consistent with the investigation report of Sichuan dialect,phonology of Sichuan dialect and Hakka-hunan dialect in Sichuan investigated by Cui Rongchang and Huang Xuezhen,but there are some minor differences.Chorography also showed that the T and T of the four points of the middle tip of the tongue in Songpan,Baoxing,Lushan County,Sichuan and Tianquan,when they are pronounced together,are pronounced as the prelingual sounds,and some phonological materials also provide new evidence for the phenomenon of rising tone in southwestern Mandarin.The paper also sums up the phonetic materials of Zhiyin,Fanqie in the old records,and makes a diachronic comparison with Zhongyuan Yinyun,modern Chinese Putonghua and modern Sichuan dialect,this paper probes into the disyllabic initial consonants of Sichuan dialect from the late Qing dynasty to the middle period of the Republic of China,the disyllabic initial consonants of Sichuan dialect,the division and division of Zhizhuangzhang,the combination of Zhixi characters and Jingzu characters,the relationship between Nielai characters,the palatalization and Jiantuan of Jianzu,the pronunciation of Yingyiyun with microvowels,the pronunciation of zhizhe,shenzhenzhe,Zenggeneshikai,etc.,zeng gengtong s pronunciation of Shusheng characters and the assignment of entering consonants and vowels,and made a diachronic study on the pronunciation of some special examples.
