| As an integral part of translated literature, the translation of small and weak national literature plays a certain role in the specific historical period and historical conditions, and is considered to be of irreplaceable value to the origin, construction and development of the modernity of Chinese new literature. In 1842,the opium war ended in China’s defeat.China and Britain signed the first unequal treaty in China’s history, the treaty of nanjing.China began to become a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society, losing its independent status. In the 1920 s and 1930 s,when the domestic situation in China was turbulent and at the same time faced with the threat of imperialist aggression, the Chinese intelligentsia, adhering to the strong sense of national self-improvement and the political appeal of "seeking justice and fair",turned their attention to the literature of small and weak nation-states that were very similar in history and reality.Due to the differences in national languages and cultures, the literary works of these small and weak nations are mainly transmitted through translation. From 1921 to 1937,a large number of translated works, including novels, poems, dramas and ballads, were translated into China with the theme of small and weak national literature. The small minority writers who choose to translate these works are mostly the "fighter-type" writers who fight for independence and freedom and resist foreign national power from the standpoint of small and weak, and express the hope of strengthening their own strength against European and American literature. This not only injected fresh blood into Chinese literature, but more importantly, under the conditions of semi-colonial and semi-feudal society at that time, translated literature,as a cross-language practice, played a role in resolving colonialism. However,at present, scholars have not paid much attention to the translation and settlement of weak literatures. In fact, the translation of the weak literatures has a distinct feature of settlement. This thesis will take the translation and introduction of weak national literature as the object of study and explore the objective role of deconstructing strong literature in the colonization of Chinese literature. The introduction mainly introduces the research significance of the topic, current research situation, research meaning, research ways and difficulties, and clarifies related concepts that will be involved in the thesis. From 1921-1937,the first chapter of the weak ethnic literature translation, first discuss the half colonial under the conditions of weak nations "boom",literary translation involves the translation of literature from the early stage of the narrow, single strong ethnic literature translation to loiter weak ethnic literature, which is how to change in the translation orientation,to "new youth","novel monthly" and "literature" three journals, discusses the small and weak ethnic literature, special issue published, also the source of the translation and selection mechanism is influenced by what factors, contact the specific political and cultural context,Clarify key concepts such as "semi-colonization" and " decolonization ".On the basis of the previous chapter, the second chapter of this pa per discusses the functions of translation and interpretation of the colonization of small and weak national literature, mainly from three aspects: the subjective appeal of translation and interpretation of colonization, translation and interpretation of colonial mentality, translation strategies and translation efforts of translators. The third chapter mainly summarizes the subject characteristics of the translation of weak national literature and the consciousness of liberation, and discusses the liberation function of the translated text by combining the author’s works. Conclusion part summarizes the full text, and points out that literary translation is an effective channel of colonial solution, combined with the translation of the historical background of weak national literature, translators choose and specific rendering text theme,20 or 30 s of the 20 th century Chinese existing solutions of colonial consciousness in translation literature, and scholars made the decolonization efforts. |
