Analysis Of The Return Of Representational Paining Art

Zao wou-ki has famously created the representational art in the return of the21^stcentury’s painting art from abstract painting.At present,there are few literatures specializing on this issue.It motivates my dissertation to address the changes of the issue by taking<Le Vent Pousse La Mer-Triptyque>as a starting point.To interpret the return of representational art in this issue gap domestically in China,this dissertation applies the aesthetic theories in study according to Zao wou-ki’s autobiography,art album,literature reviews,case studies and related comparative analysis.From the analysis of Zao’s structure of emotional art knowledge,this paper interpreted the poetic and metaphorical meaning of<Le Vent Pousse La Mer-Triptyque>.Meanwhile,it attempts to recognize one of the underlying causes of Zao’s return to the representational art in his old age is probably his sense of belonging towards his motherland and his pursuit of artistic truth.Last but not last,this paper demonstrates my artistic works inspired by Zao’s unique style of the return of representational art.
