Chinese traditional fine brushwork flower-and-bird painting is a unique artistic language of the Chinese nation.It has a unique cultural style and a long history,fine Brushwork flower-and-bird painters have always expressed their thoughts and feelings through different painting language in their works.Due to the changes and changes of the Times,the gradual infiltration of multiple art cultures,and the diverse demands of aesthetic appreciation in the art market,the aesthetic consciousness of contemporary fine brushwork flower-and-bird painters has undergone some changes either actively or passively,on the basis of inheriting the essence of Traditional Art,they summarized and searched for a new style of meticulous flower-and-bird painting language to adapt to the characteristics and atmosphere of the Times.Among them,some artists take the gray tone as the main direction of their creation research,which has attracted a lot of attention.This paper takes the excellent works of large-scale art exhibition as a case,and from the perspective of the Development Opportunity of modern and contemporary grey tone art and its diversity,through the methods of literature research,Comparative Observation and Case Analysis,the application of gray tone in the creation of fine brushwork flower-and-bird painting is the foothold,and the study of gray tone in Chinese contemporary fine brushwork flower-and-bird painting is conducted.This paper is devoted to the analysis of the development features and advantages of the "gray" language of contemporary fine brushwork flower-and-bird painting,in order to connect theory with practice and guide practice,so that the author can guide me through the study of the gray tone in the creation of the use,and get inspiration.
