| Dunhuang murals in Mogao Grottoes are precious artistic treasures of Buddhism and one of the most important cultural heritages in the history of Chinese art,which is the historical witness of the mutual exchange between Chinese culture and foreign culture.The early grottoes represented by the Northern Wei Dynasty were the initial stage of murals in Mogao Grottoes.The unique historical background and cultural environment created the unique artistic style of murals in this period,which were still colorful despite thousands of years of wind and sand.Among them,as a unique story painting plot in the Dunhuang fresco system,"The Deer King Bunsen" has immeasurable artistic value.Compared with the murals in the burial caves,today,with the rapid development of art,modern decorative paintings break the inherent mode of the traditional easel paintings,innovate in the aspects of techniques,forms of expression and material application,and constantly show new aesthetic exploration with a new look.As a kind of comprehensive decorative material,fiber material has rich connotation and strong plasticity.Its application in decorative paintings can generate emotional connection with people’s sensory experience due to the texture characteristics of the material itself.This paper will be divided into five chapters.Starting from exploring and summarizing the decorative language of "The Deer King Bunsen",this paper will refine and innovate the picture,and use comprehensive fiber materials as the media to carry out decorative painting application practice.The first chapter of this paper introduces the general situation of the research and the innovation points of the project.The second chapter deeply explores the artistic characteristics of murals in Mogao Grottoes in the Northern Wei Dynasty from the perspectives of painting techniques,image depiction and subject matter content,analyzes the types and composition forms of the main story paintings on murals in the Northern Wei Dynasty,and also gives a certain outline of Bunsen the Deer King as a story painting of Bunsen.The third chapter mainly focuses on the composition characteristics,line expression and color expression to summarize the decorative language of "The Deer King Bunsen".The fourth chapter focuses on the types and characteristics of fiber materials,describes the general situation of fiber decorative paintings,and provides theoretical basis for the application of practice.The fifth chapter,based on the above research,refines and evolves the decorative language of the fresco "The Deer King Bunsen",and applies it to the graduation design in the form of fiber decorative painting. |
