Analysis On The Artistic Characteristics And Performance Of Guzheng Ensemble The Yellow River

In the field of art in Our country,many works with the Yellow River as the theme have expressed a kind of perseverance,hard work,positive enterprising,striving upward fine national spirit,inspiring our Chinese people to move forward courageously."Yellow River Cantata" is a well-known classic choral work,which has been adapted and transplanted by the world,showing many excellent works in different forms of performance.In 1969,it was adapted as a piano concerto,and in 2018,it was adapted and transplanted by Zhou Zhan for Guzheng duet Yellow River.Guzheng is one of the ancient Chinese plucked Musical Instruments,carrying more than 2,500 years of national history and spiritual civilization.Through the long river of history and the change of times,the performance form from solo to the vigorous development of the current form of ensemble,followed by a large number of excellent Guzheng ensemble works have been published.The creation of the Guzheng ensemble "Yellow River" has also had a lot of influence in the Guzheng field,which not only adds bricks to the development of the ensemble art,but also makes the interpretation art of Guzheng more rich and diversified.The composer expresses the musical color of the Yellow River through the artistic expression of Guzheng,which also highlights the unique charm of China’s national musical instrument and promotes the culture of national music.This work is the opening piece of the author’s mid-term MFA concert.The author analyzes the overview,artistic characteristics and performance of the work through relevant literature collection and investigation,as well as his own performance,rehearsal and performance experience.The whole paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter analyzes and summarizes the creation background and reasons of the Yellow River based on the interview of Zhou Zhan and the historical tracing of the Yellow River.Secondly,it analyzes the musical form structure and artistic characteristics of the work,and explains the relationship between piano and Guzheng in the work from several aspects,as well as the role of piano in the work.Finally,the author analyzes the specific performance and techniques of the work through his own performance and rehearsal experience.Among them,the performance mainly includes four aspects:the unity of breath and body in the expression of surging emotions,the emotional transmission of sadness and sorrow between the vocal parts,the rhythm change of tense atmosphere and the strong and weak performance in the color presentation of struggle;Technique performance is mainly aimed at the analysis of three techniques:linear finger shaking,fast finger sequence,big pinch and small pinch.
