As Chinese-teaching grows,it cannot be unrecognized to lead Chinese culture into the visual-audio-oral course.POA(Production-Oriented Approach),by professor Wen Qiufang solves "separation between learning and application",which has many similarities in the requirements of intermediate visual-audio-oral course.Taking tea as a topic,this paper attempts to seek a more effective method to carry out culture.In view of the nature,characteristics,methods and situations,it is found that the visualaudio-oral course and culture-teaching are consistent with the features and principles.POA is more practical,informational,transferable,comprehensive,workable and maneuverable,which proposes that the concept conforms to the characteristics of non-Chinese speakers,the hypothesis answers the development requirements of the course,the process is in line with the principles of second language education.The applicability with POA,the visual-audio-oral course and cultural teaching is confirmed from targets,characteristics,and strategies.Seven subjects in the study are from Overseas Education Institute in Yangzhou University.Overall arrangement,activities implementation and mode selection are explicated.Based on adaption of China Focus,it gave some details from the three links,which had been divided into two lessons.Performances and productions of learners are summarized after implementing the specific instructional design.Feeding back effectiveness from two aspects(teachers and learners)in the estimation of classroom observation,interview and homework,this design has some points to be presented:more enlightening grammar explanation,more animated classroom activities,more enhanced learning autonomy,and improving the fluency,complexity and accuracy in expression,about where we had expected.Therefore,it has certain reference and guiding significance.However,the combination also poses new challenges to teachers:firstly,selecting appropriate teaching materials;secondly,realizing the hierarchical knowledge structure;thirdly establishing students personal growth files;finally,combining various methods.
