Study On Phonology And Internal Differences Of Yilong Dialect In Sichuan Province

The dialect of Yilong County in Sichuan Province belongs to the Southwest Mandarin.According to the previous dialect survey data,the dialect of Yilong County is classified into the Chengdu-Chongqing piece of Southwest Mandarin.Based on the interior of Yilong County,its dialects are complex and diverse.There are three major Chinese dialects,namely Southwest Mandarin,Hunan dialect,and Hakka dialect.The dialects within Yilong County are quite different.This paper investigates the dialect phonology of Yilong County through field investigation and researches.Its characteristics describe the appearance of dialects in Yilong County and reveal the dialect differences in Yilong County.This thesis consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly summarizes the history,geography,population and language use of Yilong County,the current situation of dialect research,the main research content and research significance,research methods,and introduces the dialect representative points and speakers.The second part is the phonological situation of Jincheng Town,Ma’an Town,Xinzheng Town,Yongle Town,and Dayin Town in Yilong County,which is the latest survey.The third part compares the phonology of Jincheng,Maan,Xinzheng,Yongle and Dayin in Yilong County with Guangyun,and explores the differences in their diachronic evolution.The fourth part further explores the differences between the five selected dialect points and the reasons for the formation of the dialect differences in Yilong County.The fifth part is the conclusion.This thesis adopts the first-hand data of field investigation,and uses the theoretical knowledge and research methods of Chinese dialectology,historical comparative linguistics,dialect geography,etc.The synchronic description of the phonology is carried out,and the longitudinal historical phonology comparison is carried out with the reference of "Guangyun",combined with the immigration history and other data,to explore the geographical distribution of dialects in Yilong area and the internal differences of dialects.
