"Mind" is an important category in the history of Chinese philosophy. As a master of Neo-Confucianism,Zhu Xi not only had detailed discussions on li,nature, and qi,but also attached great importance to "mind" and had more precise discussions. This article focuses on Zhu Xi’s "Theory of Mind",by starting from the ideological origin of Zhu Xi’s theory of mind, aiming to grasp the relationship between "mind" and Zhu Xi’s highest noumenon,"li",through this is to explore the implementation of Zhu Xi’s theory of mind and "li".From the main source of Zhu Xi’s theory of mind,it mainly includes the understanding of the moral attributes and perceptual considerations of "mind" since the pre-Qin period, represented by Mencius and Xunzi. In particular,Zhu Xi exerted the epistemological function of "mind" to perceive and think, and at the same time inherited the dominance of "mind" endowed by Zhang Zai’s theory of "Xintongxingqing",and completed the preliminary construction of "mind".In addition, thinking about the old meaning of the Buddhist "mind" theory, completes the initial construction of "mind".Analyzing the function of the "thinking" of the "mind" emphasized in Zhu Xi’s Theory of Mind,it can be seen that Zhu Xi attached great importance to the perception and thinking of the "mind",and it also shows that the ability of the perception and thinking of the mind is Zhu Xi’s communication between the mind and the nature, the mind and the xing. And it’s the premise of li.From the perspective of the above categories,Zhu Xi’s discussion of the relationship between mind and nature can be summarized by "nature is the li of what the mind has." As for the relationship between mind and li,it can be summarized by "mind is the place where li meets." In this way,Zhu Xi’s thinking on the three categories of mind, nature, and li is centered on the mind, and nature and li are tied to the inner stipulation and implementation of the mind respectively. From the perspective of Kungfu theory,Zhu Xi discusses the relationship between mind and li,the dominance of mind, and the relationship between mind and qi.There is a basic idea, that is,the starting point of Kungfu—the mind with the ability to perceive and think—recognizes the "principle of heaven".This thinking is manifested in the physical implementation of "li",and "nature" has become the expression form of "heavenly principle" in "mind".The so-called Gewuzhizhi,Zhengxinchengyi,Zhujing are advocated by the theory of work, which is to eliminate the selfishness of human desires and realize the clarity of the whole. This kind of Kungfu theory can be from the inside to the outside,or from the outside to the inside.Through the individual practice of the two-way force from inside and outside, the principle of heaven and the human heart can reach the state of uninterrupted unity, that is,the realm of the Daoxin. In a word,"mind" occupies a pivotal position in Zhu Xi’s theory of Kungfu,so from the perspective of Zhu Xi’s emphasis on mind,it can be classified as "Xin Xue" in a broad scope, however, considering Zhu Xi’s discussion of mind,he has continuously Emphasizing Mencius’ cognitive orientation of "Xinzhiguanzesi",and constantly exerting the mutual recognition and recognition of the mind and nature(heavenly principle),is fundamentally different from Lu Jiuyuan’s theory of mind. This difference can be summed up as follows: It is precisely because the "mind" has the ability to perceive and think,so that the outward realization of the "natural principles" and the inward sincerity can be combined into one.And the theory of mind must include the Theory of Kungfu from Gewuzhizhi.Although the realm of Zhu Xi’s theory of mind and Lu Jiuyuan’s "mind is the li" is the same, the way to reach this realm is completely different.
