An Analysis Of The Role Creation And Singing Of Two Women In The Opera "Artist’s Career"

As an outstanding Italian opera composer from the end of the 19 th century to the beginning of the 20 th century,Puccini created many classic works,of which "Artist’s Career" is considered one of his most successful works.This paper mainly uses the method of literature research,comparative analysis and inductive summary to analyze the roles of the two heroines and their arias in the opera "Artist’s Career".Through an overview of Puccini’s life and the opera "Artist’s Career",understand the background and specific content of his creation;analyze the characters of Mimi and Musetta,and compare their personalities and views on love;The three arias of "People Call Me Mimi","Coming to You" and "Walking in the Street" are analyzed and sung,compared and interpreted,so as to improve their grasp of the role of women in opera,and the rendition of the aria.
