As a well-known governor of the Jianghuai region during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, his artistic achievements such as poetry and prose were mostly covered by his political voice. The research on his works of art also focuses on the collection of calligraphy and painting art,but pays less attention to the poetry itself. In fact,Song Luo’s poetry creation also reaches a high artistic level and has prominent artistic value.Combing and analyzing the content of his poems in Jianghuai area, and understanding his poetic mentality and the social environment at that time,we can better understand Song’s artistic pursuit and life goal;At the same time, studying his poems in the Jianghuai area and affirming its artistic value can help us to better understand the social situation of the Jianghuai area during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, and can also supplement the deficiency of the study of Qing poetry to a certain extent.Literary sociology emphasizes the influence of the times and the surrounding environment on the author’s literary works. The area where Song Luo served as a governor was the area with the most prominent anti Qing consciousness and the activest group of survivors in the early Qing Dynasty. Therefore, based on the special times and environment at that time, this paper discusses the ideological content and artistic characteristics of his poems, and analyzes the content and main characteristics of his works with the methods of literature research, literature and history complementary research, comparative research and literary sociology,so as to analyze the status and value of his poems in the Jianghuai poetry circle and even the whole poetry circle in the early Qing Dynasty. The first chapter of the paper "a study of song’s life and social activities" mainly discusses the background of song’s poetry creation, including song’s era background, personal life experience, regional influence his friend-making and social activities. The family background of being an official for generations, the behavior of his father choosing to be a second minister in the late Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty and his association with different types of literati such as the remnant and the literati of the current dynasty all had a certain impact on the content and style of Song Luo’s poetry. In Song Luo’s heart, the family’s responsibility and desire for success mingled with his unspeakable feelings for his hometown. This complex and contradictory sense of struggle is inseparable from its family background and social activities. The second chapter "the content of song’s poems in Jianghuai area" is a classified analysis of song’s poems in Jianghuai area. The poems created by Song Luo in the Jianghuai area can be divided into three categories:the first category is the leisure poetry chanting the wind and moon. The author’s pursuit of "leisure" and "concealment" is very obvious, whether it is light, open, simple and far-reaching leisure poetry,or wild and unrestrained landscape poetry,or elegant and self-adaptive painting poetry. The second type is the poetry of making friends that shows its crisscross network of making friends.Although Song Luo was a high-ranking official, his communication objects were not single, ranging from dignitaries to civilians, and his poems formed in the communication with these people with different identities could also show different contents and emotions. The third category is his works focusing on people’s livelihood. There are obvious differences between his poems and the works of other poets on people’s livelihood:First, all these works are set in the background of the disaster in the Jianghuai region;Second,Song Luo’s livelihood poems are different from the similar works of other poets. He does not describe the "disaster reality" as the main body of his poems, but puts forward constructive measures from the perspective of disaster relief. The formation of the content of this poem is inseparable from his identity and purpose. The third chapter "the artistic characteristics of song’s poetry in Jianghuai area" focuses on Song’s artistic proposition and poetic characteristics. The first section discusses the steady poetic style of Song’s Jianghuai poetry, which is also popular; At the same time, the content of his poems is realistic and righteous, reflecting the characteristics of "Fengshi",which are the concrete expression of his poems being " high and beautiful, clean and elegant".On the basis of the previous section, the second section discusses the language characteristics of Song Luo’s Jianghuai poetry, mainly covering its sparse and bright poetic environment, with the meaning of folk songs;its flexible poetic language is flexible, and the poetic image clear and beautiful. The third section briefly analyzes the artistic tendency of "emphasizing the Tang Dynasty" and "advocating SuShi".The fourth chapter "the position and influence of Song Luo in the Jianghuai poetry circle" mainly discusses Song Luo’s construction of the poetry circle in the Jianghuai area in the early Qing Dynasty and Song Luo’s position in the history of poetry.By analyzing the selected poems and the anthologies of his works,we can know that:first,Song Luo hoped to reduce the people’s resistance to the Qing government in Jianghuai area to a certain extent through cultural activities, which actually had the purpose of driving the transformation of political atmosphere through literary activities;Second, through carrying out literary activities,he publicized his poetic tendency and artistic ideas, which made the Jianghuai poetry circle in the early Qing Dynasty form the artistic atmosphere of "learning from the poetry of the Song Dynasty and learning from SuShi";Third, his act of selecting backward literary works into anthologies also promoted the construction of the literary world in the Jianghuai region to a certain extent and provided talents for the social development of the Qing Dynasty to a certain extent.
