A Study On The Characteristics And Motivation Of NV Adverbial Structure In Modern Chinese

In modern Chinese,adverbial nouns are a special linguistic phenomenon,which has long been the focus of Chinese grammar circles,and many scholars have also conducted research on this issue.This paper intends to further investigate this linguistic phenomenon on the basis of previous research,analyze the semantic characteristics of the internal elements of the NV-like structure,solve the problem of the selectivity of nouns and verbs,and analyze from the perspectives of cognitive linguistics decategorization,conceptual fusion,economic The three aspects of the principle reveal the mechanism and motivation behind the noun as an adverbial.The full text consists of six chapters.The first chapter mainly explains the origin and significance of the research of this article,research status,research methods,corpus sources and research objects.The second chapter distinguishes three different structural relationships of "NV"-type subject-predicate,fixed-center and shape-center,and determines the definition standard of NV-shape structure.Based on whether there is a mark "地" between N and V in the NV-like structure and whether other adverbial components can be inserted,it is divided into strong coagulation type "NV" type,sub-strong coagulation type "N（地）V" There are three types: type and weak coagulation type "N地 V" type.The third chapter discusses the internal elements N and V of the NV-like structure,as well as the semantic interaction between them,and the characteristics of marking "地".From three aspects: the types of adverbial nouns,the semantic roles of nouns and the semantic features of nouns,the characteristics of adverbial nouns in three types of NV-like structures are analyzed respectively.Then it analyzes the types and characteristics of head verbs and the looming characteristics of marking "地".It focuses on explaining the semantic interaction between the adverbial noun and the head verb in the strongly coagulative "NV"-like structure.From the perspective of component inside the structure,the NV-like middle structure of noun-modifying finite verbs is the result of the two-way interaction and choice of noun and verb.The fourth chapter analyzes the pragmatic features of the NV-like structure,which is mainly manifested in the simplicity and figurativeness of the structure,highlighting the contrast focus and wide application in the written style.The fifth chapter reveals its internal formation mechanism and motivation from three aspects: the decategorization of N in the NV-like structure,the conceptual fusion of N and V,and the economic principle,based on the cognitive perspective.The sixth chapter summarizes the research results of this paper and expounds the shortcomings of the research.
