The Research Of Tan Zongjun And His Poetry

Tan Zongjun was a famous literati in the late Qing Dynasty,and his poetry creation was relatively rich.Tan Zongjun’s poems are mainly preserved in the Lichun cottage Poetry Collection and the Lichun Cottage Poetry Collection Sequel,with a total of 1219.This paper takes Tan Zongjun and his poems as the main research object and is divided into four chapters.This paper examines Tan Zongjun’s life,works and friends,so as to grasp his life experience and literary creation as a whole,in order to know people and discuss the world.Firstly,according to Tan Zongjun’s main activities,Tan Zongjun’s life is divided into four periods: studying for an official,studying politics in Sichuan,serving in the capital,changing to Jiangnan and serving in Yunnan.Secondly,it combs Tan Zongjun’s works,including Tan Zongjun’s poems,essays and notes,and introduces the searchable content versions one by one.Thirdly,it examines Tan Zongjun’s friendship and analyzes the influence of friendship on Tan Zongjun’s life track and poetry creation.Tan Zongjun’s poems are rich in subject matter,mainly including scenery poems,historical poems,gift poems,painting poems and emotional poems.The scenery poems express the feeling of homesickness through the scenery;Poems on history and nostalgia express nostalgia;The gift poem expresses Tan Zongjun’s feelings with his relatives and friends;Poems inscribed with paintings have a powerful momentum;Emotional lyric poetry not only pays close attention to the people’s livelihood,but also expresses personal feelings.Based on the overall analysis of the content of Tan Zongjun’s poetry,this paper further explores the artistic characteristics of Tan Zongjun’s poetry.Tan Zongjun is good at refining words and sentences,and skillfully uses verbs,numerals,overlapping words and function words to make his poetry more interesting.At the same time,he is good at using allusions and has various techniques.In addition,it explores three styles of Tan Zongjun’s poetry,one is magnificent,the other is fresh and beautiful,and the third is gloomy and sad.Tan Zongjun’s poetry creation and his poetic thought complement each other and are inseparable.Tan Zongjun’s poetry theory is mainly reflected in four aspects: first,it emphasizes expressing ambition and temperament with poetry;Second,we oppose the views of different families and advocate extensive study and accumulation of knowledge;Third,we should oppose the old and seek the new;Fourth,pay attention to reality and the social significance of poetry.
