Analysis Of Psychological Characterization And Singing Presentation Of ZIJUN’s Canto In Sorrow For The Past

The opera "mourning the death" describes that in the early 1920 s,Juan Sheng and Zijun bravely fought against the feudal tradition for love.However,in real life,due to the subjective will of Juan Sheng and Zijun and the influence of the social environment at that time,it was easy to love but difficult to get along with each other,the story ended with the tragic death of Zijun and Juan Sheng falling into infinite regret.The plot of the opera "mourning the death" is arranged with the four seasons of spring,summer,autumn and winter as the four scenes of the opera,which fully shows that the four seasons of Juan Sheng and Zijun’s love are not separated,and also indicates that their love will gradually enter the tragedy of cold winter from spring.The opera "mourning the past" has smooth music and beautiful melody,especially Zijun’s several classic Aria "a touch of sunset","happy waiting" and "the wind is bleak" vividly run through Zijun’s mental process from different periods and according to Zijun’s different situations.It not only depicts Zijun’s psychological changes in an all-round way,but also plays an important role in the dramatic development of the plot.Combined with the text of Lu Xun’s novel "mourning the death" and the music of the opera "mourning the death",this paper interprets the inner world of the heroine Zijun through the singing analysis of three famous arias of Zijun in the opera.Finally,use the singing performance to elaborate the opera role on the stage,perfect interpretation and appropriate expression works.Through this research,help the singer better understand the psychological changes and role shaping in different periods of the drama.
