Advance Research And Implementation Of Rehearsals For Musical Theater Repertoire

Seminar on Teaching and Creation of Chinese Musical Theatre organized by the China Musical Theatre Association [ Seminar on Teaching and Creation of Chinese Musical Theatre.In activities such as the "China Original Musical Theater Exhibition" sponsored by the Beijing Dance Academy,many music producers and producers have repeatedly appealed to colleges and universities that open musical theaters to send qualified and high-quality musical theater performing talents to the society.At present,the domestic colleges and universities that offer musical theater can be divided into two categories: professional colleges and universities with independent enrollment rights（school examinations）and comprehensive colleges without independent enrollment rights（unified examinations）.（The following are all elaborated on professional colleges and comprehensive colleges）.There are fundamental differences between the two in terms of student entrance,student expertise,class size and professional class hours,but the first-level goal in the talent training programs of the two types of colleges and universities is the same,that is,to cultivate musical theater performance talents.In summary,in view of market demand,how to send a large number of qualified and high-quality musical theater performance talents to the society is the primary task of opening a musical theater direction college.The author’s undergraduate and graduate students are both graduated from comprehensive colleges and universities,and the above situations of the two types of colleges and universities are compared horizontally from the personal experience of study and actors.From the discovery of problems in undergraduates,the raising of problems to the identification of reasons,refining methods,landing inspections,and reverse verification at the graduate level,an auxiliary method and means for comprehensive colleges and universities to better complete the first-level goals in the talent training program have been derived,that is,the first research and implementation of musical theater rehearsals.Usually,whether it is a professional college or a comprehensive college,the rehearsal of musical theater plays is carried out in the third year.The rehearsal of musical theater that the author proposes and verifies in practice is applicable to the direction of musical theater in comprehensive colleges and universities,which is to place the rehearsal of musical theater repertoire before the new students enter the school.This is not an empty and paper story,but the author has repeatedly confirmed it after seven years.The author will expound on the feasibility of rehearsal foremanship of musical theater in four parts:the first chapter makes a horizontal comparison of the curriculum setting,training objectives and requirements of the two types of college musical theater and the entrance of students;the second chapter expounds the attributes of the rehearsal class;the third chapter,the scheme and implementation of the rehearsal of musical theater;and the fourth chapter is the research value of the forerunner of the rehearsal of the repertoire.
