From the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Song Dynasty,Jingzhou calligraphy has experienced a tortuous development process,including peak periods that are in line with the times,low periods that are very different from the times,and rising periods that lead the development of the times.The paper is divided into four parts.The introduction part summarizes the current local calligraphy history research,points out the research purpose and methods,and defines the concept of Jingzhou calligraphy.The last three chapters discuss the calligraphy of Jingzhou from the Wei,Jin,the Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Song Dynasty.The content is first to describe the characteristics of calligraphy in a certain era and the general situation of Jingzhou calligraphy in this era,and then detailed analysis calligraphers,calligraphy writing and calligraphy works.The first chapter is about the Jingzhou calligraphy in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties.It mainly introduces Yu Yi and his works,Yu Jianwu and his calligraphy,as well as the Jingzhou calligraphy family,etc.,and then compares the era horizontally to summarize the Jingzhou in this period.Calligraphy has the characteristics of tending to keep pace with the times.The second chapter is the calligraphy of Jingzhou in the Tang Dynasty.It mainly introduces two calligraphers Chen Weiyu and Lu Yu and their works.Finally,it is concluded that the performance of Jingzhou calligraphy in the Tang Dynasty is mediocre,and it is in sharp contrast with the prosperous period of calligraphy in the Tang Dynasty.The third chapter is Jingzhou calligraphy in the Song Dynasty.It mainly introduces Huang Tingjian’s calligraphy creation in Jingzhou,one of the "Four Song Schools",and then summarizes the position of Jingzhou calligraphy in the Song Dynasty calligraphy development by analyzing its artistic characteristics and influence.In the concluding part,by connecting,sorting and summarizing the performance of Jingzhou calligraphy in the three eras,it is concluded that Jingzhou calligraphy has the characteristics of difference and fusion.
