“Draw calligraphy into painting” is an important reason for change in Yuan Dynasty landscape painting,the formation of a turning point in the development of landscape painting.Make the Yuan Dynastylandscape painting became another peak with the Song Dynasty landscape painting in the Chineselandscape painting. It is a tremendous impact, so that the Yuan Dynasty landscape painting to get acomprehensive reform in terms of skills, design method and aesthetic ideas. Its far-reaching impact onfuture generations, the contemporary landscape painting still largely affected.This paper attempts to through Chao Meng-fu “Twin Pines, Level Distance”, the analysis and research, toexplore the “draw calligraphy into painting” internal mechanism. The paper is divided into threechapters. The first chapter focuses on the enrichment and development of calligraphic brushwork by ChaoMeng-fu’s landscape painting. The second chapter focuses on the transition of design method in ChaoMeng-fu’s landscape painting. The third chapter from aesthetics to view the innovation of Yuan Dynastylandscape painting. And as the three chapters to analyze and study for intrinsic significance of “Drawcalligraphy into painting”. In the final section of Chapter3, think about its significance for the inspirationand creation of contemporary landscape painting.
