A Study On Moral Education Penetration In High School Class

With the rapid development of science and technology and the Internet,the moral construction and psychological development of teenagers are facing more and more challenges.Some of these challenges come from the society,some from study,and some from the family of origin.If students can’t handle these challenges,their development will be hindered.Since entering the 21 st century,the related education departments have been emphasizing the importance of students’ quality-oriented education.However,the research found that many schools did not put it into practice.The moral education in some schools is only carried out in the political class.And the teachers of other subjects rarely impart knowledge while conducting silent moral education to students.In order to discuss the measures to promote the penetration of moral education in high school English classroom,the author studies the following problems:1.What problems exist in the moral education penetration in English classes of senior high school students at present?2.What are the penetration points of moral education in the compulsory English textbooks?3.How can we promote the moral education penetration in high school English class based on teaching materials?To address the above questions,the study conducted a questionnaire survey among200 students of a middle school in Liaocheng.This study found that there were still some problems in the current moral education in English classroom by data analysis,such as teachers’ lack of understanding of textbooks,teachers’ weak moral awareness,and teachers’ excessive emphasis on students’ achievements.Secondly,the study used text analysis method to make an in-depth analysis of the textbook,fully digging out the content of moral education contained in the textbook,and summarizing the knowledge points used for the penetration of moral education in each unit.Finally,on the basis of the above analysis,the author proposed measures to promote the penetration of moral education in the classroom according to the moral education resources in the textbook and current situation of moral education in English teaching.For example,teachers can take the form of “group workshops” to conduct moral education in combination with textbooks,creating situations to conduct moral education,conducting moral education through the comparison of English and Chinese cultures.At the same time,the author verified the effectiveness of the proposed measures through the analysis of real cases in the classroom.On the one hand,this study verifies the theory of Herbart’s educational teaching and Dewey’s moral education.Moral education is everywhere in school.On the other hand,it can provide measures for the front-line high school English teachers to promote the penetration of moral education in the classroom,which is conducive to the overall development of students.
