A Study And Application Of Pragmatic Sequence Serving Image Creation

As one of the four famous works,the romance of the Three Kingdoms contains more than 400 characters.As one of the main characters,Cao Cao has been regarded as an artistic model of complex character in the field of ancient Chinese literature.The typical images in literature are created on the basis of language.Language can show the characters’ thoughts,feelings and personality characteristics.There are certain logical rules between the characters’ discourse and the characterization.In view of the prominent image features in Cao Cao’s discourse pragmatics,this paper selects five types of Discourse:request,accusation,command,threat and statement,and combines with the classical pragmatics theories such as conversational implicature,politeness principle,linguistic adaptation theory and speech act to analyze the sequence of pragmatic principles of Cao Cao’s different speech acts in specific context,and summarizes the pragmatic rules of Cao Cao Cao’s discourse On the basis of the conclusion,this paper models the characters in Cao Cao’s discourse,sums up a set of rules serving the creation of characters and writing practice.In the pragmatic sequence of Cao Cao’s discourse,politeness factors are distributed in five types of discourse,impoliteness factors mainly appear in four types of Discourse:accusation,command,threat and statement;Cao Cao’s pragmatic strategies mainly include fact statement,descriptive behavior effect,rhetorical question negation of others,nonverbal symbols and direct request;in refining "Xiaoxiong","hero" and "treacherous hero",Cao Cao’s pragmatic strategies are as follows On the basis of the main sememes of the three words,this paper constructs five contradictory image patterns: loyalty and treachery,honesty and treachery,benevolence and violence,wisdom and folly,pride and inferiority.On the basis of modeling Cao Cao’s image,this paper summarizes the rules of character’s discourse pragmatics and image creation: first,creating situations and forming pressure conflicts by turn taking;second,generalizing the character’s spirit by typical common names;third,creating multiple characters by diverse discourses Fourth,non-verbal symbols show the real intention of the characters.
