Study And Application Of Traditional Chinese Painting Character Expression In Opera Peony Pavilion

Traditional Chinese opera and Chinese painting are artistic cultures with national characteristics.They learn from each other and integrate each other in artistic creation to jointly promote their own development.Using traditional Chinese painting to show traditional Chinese opera can not only reproduce the rich charm of the actors on the stage,but also make the traditional opera more widely dissemble the colorful makeup of the changeable characters in the elements of traditional Chinese opera Clothes of different shapes and colors and virtual scene arrangements can become the source of material and inspiration for the creation of Chinese painting characters.The multi-dimensional and multi-angle expression of these elements in the creation of Chinese painting adds to the content and form of traditional opera themed Chinese painting.From the perspective of creative practice,this paper analyzes and elaborates the characters of traditional Chinese painting in the opera "Peony Pavilion".First of all,it briefly summarizes the general development of figure painting on the theme of opera,and then briefly describes the creation and aesthetic characteristics of the characters in the traditional Chinese painting of the opera Peony Pavilion,and summarizes the general picture of the performance of the characters in the traditional Chinese painting on the theme in two forms of meticulous brushwork and freehand brushwork.Secondly,it expounds the expression way of elements of opera Peony Pavilion in the creation of Chinese painting characters.From the modeling style,composition,color,techniques and materials,analyze and summarize the characteristics of the painter’s creation and expression of this theme.Finally,combined with the graduation work to describe the opera "Peony Pavilion" elements in the picture and the performance of its creation characteristics,based on the story plot and grasp the character image temperament characteristics of the work on the basis of the re-creation of opera elements.In terms of color expression,the characters are not only drawn from the colors of opera characters,but also treated subjectively.The composition and material techniques keep pace with The Times,which makes the characters have a sense of The Times and uniqueness.The creation of traditional Chinese painting on the theme of the opera Peony Pavilion should be based on the preservation of its own characteristics and constantly bring forth the new.Through this research and practical exploration,it is hoped that to some extent,the public will be aware of the various ways of expression and features of figure painting on the theme of opera,so as to arouse the public’s interest in opera art and figure painting,and provide the corresponding reference for the creation and performance of figure painting on this kind of opera.
