Study On The Application Of Divided Composition Form In Contemporary Chinese Fine Brushwork Flower-and-bird Painting

The works of Chinese fine brushwork flower-and-bird painting under the new situation should not only retain the traditional techniques but also be rich in the atmosphere of the times.As one of the manifestations of plane composition,the split composition form plays a role in the innovation of contemporary brush painting.In recent years,works in the form of divided composition have been frequently seen in national exhibitions and many painting books.However,there is very little literature on this form,and it is mostly a small section of a paper on the subject of planar composition.The purpose of this paper is to make a more comprehensive and systematic study of the application of this form in contemporary Chinese fine brushwork flowerand-bird painting.Specifically,the full text is divided into the following five sections:I.The reasons and current situation of the study are introduced,and the research content and significance,research methods and innovation points are outlined.II.Explains that segmentation composition is the redistribution of areas of plane space according to certain proportions and compositional order,in order to make a reasonable layout of each modeling element in the composition.It has two main types: various types of divisions and proportional and numerical divisions.Different forms of division can present different visual effects and give the viewer different psychological feelings.III.According to the relevant paintings,articles and interview records of contemporary artists influenced by the division composition,such as Chen Lin,Gao Xi,Lin Ruoxi,Hu Mingzhe,Chen Yunquan,He Xi,Xu Lei,Tang Xiuling,Mo Xiaosong,etc.,first combined with the hand-drawn division type schematic diagram,analyzed the golden ratio division,equal difference series division,reconciliation series division,equal ratio series division,equal shape division,Fibonacci series division,free division and The application of tile division in the painter’s brush painting creation;then summarizes and elaborates the four application characteristics of division composition form,which focus on the visual impact effect of the block,focus on the visual emotion expression of the block,focus on the center of gravity and psychological balance of the block,and focus on the relationship between the size,gathering and dispersion,space,etc.IV.The whole practical process from the drawing of a small composition,the collection and arrangement of materials to the presentation of the final work is described,as well as personal creative intentions,difficulties encountered and the corresponding solutions.V.He shared his experience after the creation practice,suggesting that while intermingling the concept of composition,the painter should root in the fertile soil of traditional culture and seek breakthrough and innovation in form,technique and content.It is necessary to highlight the subjective spirit of creation,to put the inner thoughts to be expressed in the formal language,and to pay attention to the unity of form and content.
