Study On Bai Jiao’s Cursive Calligraphy Style

Bai Jiao cursive calligraphy is a development process of turning in and turning out.Combining with the background,the writing style can be divided into three stages: early,middle and late,and the writing style of different periods has its own characteristics.The book on the line of cursive thinking can also be summarized as three points,that is,far from home,ascend inferiority;Write a point,force in the word;Learn and memorize,one after the other.The characteristics of Bai Jiao cursive calligraphy can be summarized as simple,quiet and divine."Simplicity is the reduction",that is,the complex brushwork and calligrapher’s strengths of the reduction."Static is the distant dust",one is good at leaving a pen;Two is broken more even less;Third,the words are far from each other and the lines are wide."God is my law",reading the posts will bring you to God,and writing the posts will bring you to God,that is,the work has a personal spirit revealing,self-appearance.On the basis of the analysis of three contemporary representative calligraphers,the author carries out in-depth copying,extracts the characteristics of Baijiao,brush,dot and so on,combines the enlightenment of Baijiao related calligraphy to carry out the cursive creation,according to the order of easy to difficult,gradually in-depth,providing new ideas and directions for the future cursive creation.
