Du Fu Thatched Cottage is located by the side of Huanhua River in the western suburbs of Chengdu.It was the residence of Du Fu when he lived in Chengdu.After Du Fu left the Shu Dynasty,he underwent the reconstruction and cultivation of the local government,and gradually developed into a literary and geographical landscape integrating garden and ancestral temple,and integrating commemorative and tourist attraction.The cultural connotation of landscape is not formed in the day,the du fu thatched cottage poetry gives its literary significance of the original,gives its literary,scholars of the later generations has joined,by creating a large number of substantial content,emotion sincere poetry,give the du fu thatched cottage different era,different individual unique humanistic feelings and mentality feeling,the connotation of the cottage so more rich and diverse.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter,Du Fu Cottage as a literary landscape,mainly introduces the basic overview of Du Fu Cottage,including combing the evolution history of Du Fu Cottage,introducing Du Fu’s relics and ancestral temples in different locations all over the country,discussing the uniqueness and superiority of Du Fu Cottage in Chengdu,and analyzing its historical evolution and geographical environment.The second chapter is about the poetry and images of Du Fu Cottage.The first section is based on the poetry works of Du Fu Cottage,which sorts out the writing tradition of the poem,classifies and interprets the content of the poem,and discusses the unique feelings of the poet brought by the vivid forms of the landscape of the cottage in different times.The second section discusses and analyzes the image of the cottage which appears repeatedly in the poems of the past dynasties.Behind its symbolic meaning is the inherent impression gradually formed by the cultural deposition of the past dynasties.The third chapter is the literary geographical significance of Du Fu Cottage.Section one,based on the relationship between landscape and literature,analyzes how the poetry of Du Fu Cottage shapes the landscape of the Cottage,including the expansion and deepening of aesthetic space and cultural connotation of the Cottage,the promotion of its popularity,and the assistance to the restoration of the Cottage landscape.The second section introduces the concept of "place identity" in human geography,discusses the sense of place conveyed in Du Fu’s Cottage poems and the enhancement of place identity by his Cottage poems,and discusses the cultural storage function of Du Fu Cottage as a local cultural landscape in Chengdu.
